Building the skills kids need to cope with difficult emotions and situations
CHILD + YOUTH THERAPY
Working with the whole family to increase understanding, improve communication and build stronger relationships.
A parent who is willing to make a 1% shift will create more change than the best of therapists.
We focus on working with the whole family to create meaningful and long term change based on your personal goals.
We take an eclectic approach, pulling techniques and skills from different theories to tailor treatment to each child and family. All of the techniques used in our counselling are based on therapy modalities researched to be effective at reducing symptoms and promoting well-being.
Parents are subjected to intense scrutiny and judgment in our society; we strive to provide a safe and positive environment to explore challenges in your family without judgment . No parent is responsible for the challenges their children face, but they can be a part of the solution.
Every person and family has their own unique strengths and resilience, even when faced with the most life-changing challenges. We strive to help your child, and your whole family, to build on the strengths that you already have, and discover resilience you didn’t know was possible.
